Notified cases of infectious diseases in Victoria by age group and sex

The report contains data related to notifications processed by the Departmentup to the close of business on the dates specified. Notifications are counted in the Victorian dataset if the postcode ofresidence of the case is in Victoria. The Department has eight health regions within Victoria, three metropolitanand five regional areas. Each region is a composition of local governmentareas (LGA). Notifications are geocoded to LGAs by street address and postcodeand then allocated to a DH region.
