Data are expressed as mean ± SD, median (minimum–maximum values), or percentage. P-values were obtained by One-Way ANOVA or χ2 tests, as appropriate. n = number of subjects. HbA1c = glicohemoglobin. Only P values lower than the Bonferroni threshold (P = 0.0038) were considered statistically significant. Different letters (a,b,c) mean that values were significantly different using Tukey’s post hoc test or adjusted-residuals (P<0.05).
