Suspected or known cases of any diseases featured below must be reported to the State Veterinarian’s Office. To report a reportable equine disease, call (850) 410-0900 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (EST), Monday-Friday. For after-hours reporting, call 1-800-342-5869 or email RAD@FDACS.gov. This interactive Dashboard by the Division of Animal Industry (DAI) shows the tracking of reportable equine diseases by county in the state of Florida and is shown here. Reportable diseases are for the 2025 calendar year only. Reportable diseases currently include: Strangles Rabies Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA) Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) West Nile Virus (WNV) Equine Herpes Virus (EHV) Equine Piroplasmosis (EP) Update Schedule: Whenever possible this map is updated with new occurrences as they are brought to the department’s attention.
