Code & data to accompany Sokol et al. (2024) Notebook: figures_and_data.ipynb: jupyter notebook for reading in data files, calculating statistics, and creating the figures from the paper. Data Files: rcemip_iwp-resolved_statistics.nc: contains all data derived from RCEMIP and SAM-P3 output needed to conduct the analysis in the paper and generate the figures ecs_output.nc: consolidated output and statistics from four runs of the Bayesian ECS code from the WCRP, which is archived here: https://zenodo.org/records/3945276#.ZFvtAOzMJ8Z SAM-P3_RCE_large_2D.zip: contains three 2D output files from the SAM-P3 experiments uesd in the paper, which are not yet available on the public RCEMIP data archive. These files provide the necessary output for computing ice water path and cloud radiative effects. The summary statistics for these runs are included in rcemip_iwp-resolved_statistics.nc, so these files are only needed if the raw model output is desired.
