Slocum Glider UD275_378 Fall Spring 2013, Mid-Atlantic Fish Telemetery Mission

This dataset represents the track of a Slocum Electric Glider mission and associated VEMCO transmitter detections that occurred from April 10 to June 28, 2013. The mission was conducted in the Atlantic Ocean off of the Delmarva Pennisula from Bethany Beach, DE to Chincoteague, VA and ranged from 2-25km from the coast. The glider was equiped with two VEMCO VR2C acoustic receivers, one mounted dorsally and one ventrallly to detect telemetered animals. The mission was designed to test if there was an association between Atlantic Sturgeon and Seascapes in the coastal ocean during the spring migration. This data was collected in conjuction with MARACOOS and was also part of Gliderpalooza 2013.
