Data for: Risk Preferences and Poverty Traps in the Uptake of Credit and Insurance amongst Small-Scale Farmers in South Africa

The dataset contains experimental data obtained from risk experiments with small scale farmers in the Matzikamma District in the Western Cape, South Africa. In the experiment measures for Risk Aversion, Probability Weighting and Loss Aversion are obtained. The dataset further contains background socio-economic variables obtained via a survey conducted on the day of the experiments.
