The series consists of two types of loose register sheets: at the front, a record of the annual return of students along with statistics on teachers; and at the back, the age and class distribution of pupils by year.The Annual Return contains tables for the numbers of students attending (boys and girls), religious statistics (for example, Church of England, Methodist), numbers of volumes in the library, and special practical work undertaken (for example, agriculture, weaving).The series contains Annual Returns for Kangaroo Hills Provisional School (1938-1946) and Wongwibinda Public School (1947-1955).There is a breakdown of students attending by gender, age and grade. There is a summary of teachers at the school (for example as Principal, First Assistant), whether there were ex-students on probation and specialist teachers.Age-Grade Distribution forms record the numbers of boys and girls attending school, from ages under six years to over 18, in increments of half years. There is also a tally for religious instruction by denomination.The series contains Age-Grade Distribution forms for Kangaroo Hills Provisional School (1939-1945) and Wongwibinda Public School (1951-1968).
