T, violacea extract treated TNBC and normal breast

Water soluble extracts of the South African medicinal plant Tulbaghia violacea were used to treat Tripl Negative Breast cancer (MDA-MB231) cell lines alongside a normal breast cell line (MCF10A) . The extract was shon to induce apoptosis, cause a cell cycle arrest in S phase, and inhibit metastasis. Transcriptome sequencing was conducted to establish the pathways that are altered by treatment with this extract in TNBC cell lines and normal breast cells
