Saw Kill Tributary Water Quality Data

Each month, student volunteers and members of the Saw Kill Watershed Community collect samples from 14 sites along the Saw Kill. The Bard Water Lab then analyzes the samples for sewage-indicating bacteria, turbidity, chlorophyll a, colored dissolved organic material (CDOM), phycocyanin, and optical brighteners (OB). The lab also records the temperature and conductivity data that volunteers collect while sampling.

每月，学生志愿者与索基尔流域社区成员都会沿索基尔河的14个采样点位采集样本。随后巴德水实验室将对采集的样本进行分析，检测指标涵盖污水指示菌、浊度、叶绿素a、有色溶解有机物（colored dissolved organic material，CDOM）、藻蓝蛋白以及光学增白剂（optical brighteners，OB）。该实验室同时会记录志愿者在采样过程中获取的温度与电导率数据。
