This dataset contains experimental melt pool geometry measurements and the corresponding process parameters for the Powder Bed Fusion – Laser Beam / Metal (PBF-LB/M) process of 316L stainless steel. Melt pools were generated from single weld tracks on an Aconity-Midi machine.
