The GSK approach is reviewed and it is shown how a large variety of models for turn-over tables can be fitted by specifying functions in the cell probabilities that are zero if the model that is analyzed fits the data. It is demonstrated that the GSK approach is even able to easily handle functions that contain sums of cell probabilities.
