Yarrow Point Conductivity Temperature Depth Deployed 2024-04-12

The Sea-Bird SeaCAT SBE19plus V2 7792 was deployed on 2024-04-12 at Yarrow Point. Yarrow Point is located in the Saanich Inlet, north of Coles Bay. This device is a Conductivity Temperature Depth. Conductivity Temperature Depth (CTD) is an instrument package that contains sensors for measuring the conductivity, temperature, and pressure of seawater. Salinity, sound velocity, depth and density are variables that can be derived from sensor measurements. CTDs can carry additional instruments and sensors such as oxygen sensors, turbidity sensors and fluorometers. It was deployed on a profiling platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.海鸟（Sea-Bird）公司的SeaCAT SBE19plus V2 7792型观测设备于2024年4月12日在亚罗点（Yarrow Point）完成布放。亚罗点坐落于科尔斯湾北侧的萨尼奇湾（Saanich Inlet）水域内。该设备为电导率-温度-深度仪（Conductivity Temperature Depth，简称CTD），是集成了海水电导率、温度与压力传感器的观测载荷。依托传感器的实测数据，可衍生得到盐度、声速、水深及海水密度等环境变量。CTD可搭载额外的仪器与传感器，例如溶解氧传感器、浊度传感器与荧光计。本次布放搭载于剖面观测平台之上。此次布放获取的观测数据已完成归档，并通过加拿大海洋网络（Ocean Networks Canada）的Oceans 3.0数字基础设施对外公开提供，其质量保证流程与衍生数据产品均遵循既定行业规范。
