Mount Elgon National Park Base Data

This dataset contains shapefiles with topographical data for Mount Elgon National Park, in Eastern Uganda. The dataset comprises : Vegetation_1994, Towns, Su-counties, Slope, Sites, Roads, Rivers(small, seasonal and Major), Parishes, Landcover/use stratification, Vegetation_LB (Langdale Brown) , International Boundaries, Digital Elevation Model, Districts, Counties, and contours. The dataset was obtained from Makerere University Institute of Environment and Natural Resources (MUIENR ), Kampala, and is held at Uganda Wildlife Authority on the Monitoring and Research Unit (MRU) Server.
