Wiseek Filing Impact Monthly - 2026-08 (August 2026)
收藏资源简介:
Free, citable statistics on how SEC filings move stocks, from Wiseek, which scores 14,000 to 27,000 SEC filings a month for importance (1 to 10) and sentiment in real time. Movement is the excess next-session move: the filing ticker's publication-price to next-close move minus the same-session median move of all actively filing tickers. This version is the August 2026 monthly release (2026-08), the first canonical monthly release of the series: 21,901 filings scored, 13,760 with a clean next-session (T+1) measurement across August's 21 trading sessions, and 13,694 of those also measured at T+5 (the cumulative T+5 table is new in monthly releases). Among after-hours 8-K/6-K filings by micro-cap companies, those scored 9 or 10 moved a median 5.05% (excess) by the next close; those scored 1 to 4 moved 2.63% (n=106 vs 115). Aggregate tables cover all scores; the per-event archive (events_score7plus.csv, 8,357 rows: ticker, company, form, score, sentiment, next-session result, exclusion flags) covers published filings scoring 7 and up. Every aggregate cell reproduces exactly from the per-event file; the recipe and provenance are in meta.json. Statistics are withheld for cells under n=30. The wording throughout is "moved after," not "caused by." This release is canonical for the days it shares with the launch-note version (filings dated 2026-08-01 to 2026-08-14, New York date): when concatenating versions into one series, take those rows from this release and keep only 2026-07-24 to 2026-07-31 from the launch note. What the Wiseek score is. Every filing that hits SEC EDGAR runs through Wiseek's scoring models within seconds of publication. The importance score (1 to 10) is calibrated on filing type, transaction size, insider participation, and how similar disclosures have historically moved prices; scores of 7 and up cross Wiseek's publication threshold. The sentiment label comes from a classifier tuned on corporate-disclosure language. Scores are assigned at processing time and never revised after the market reacts, so the score always came first and the price move second. Full pipeline: wiseek.ai/methodology.
