Extreme Climate Index Dataset of the Qinling-Daba Mountains, the North-South Transition Zone of China, in Typical Years. This dataset is calculated based on meteorological observation data from meteorological stations, and includes 27 extreme climate indices as follows: 1. Maximum number of consecutive days with daily precipitation < 1 mm; 2. Number of days with 6 consecutive days of daily minimum temperature below the 10th percentile; 3. Maximum number of consecutive days with daily precipitation ≥ 1 mm; 4. Mean daily temperature range; 5. Number of days with daily minimum temperature < 0°C in a year; 6. Duration of consecutive 6-day periods with temperature greater than 5°C or less than 5°C; 7. Number of days with daily maximum temperature < 0°C in a year; 8. Total annual precipitation; 9. Number of days with daily precipitation ≥ 10 mm in a year; 10. Number of days with daily precipitation ≥ 20 mm in a year; 11. Total precipitation amount exceeding the 95th percentile; 12. Total precipitation amount exceeding the 99th percentile; 13. Maximum daily precipitation per month; 14. Maximum 5-day accumulated precipitation per month; 15. Ratio of total precipitation (≥1 mm) to the number of days with precipitation ≥1 mm; 16. Number of days with daily maximum temperature > 25°C in a year; 17. Number of days with daily maximum temperature below the 10th percentile in a year; 18. Number of days with daily maximum temperature exceeding the 90th percentile in a year; 19. Minimum value of annual daily minimum temperature; 20. Maximum value of annual daily minimum temperature; 21. Minimum value of annual daily maximum temperature; 22. Maximum value of annual daily minimum temperature; 23. Number of days with daily Tmin > 20°C in a year; 24. Number of days with daily maximum temperature below the 10th percentile in a year; 25.
