MOZ-Smishing is a benchmark dataset designed for detecting smishing attacks targeting Mobile Money Transfer (MMT) systems. It consists of Portuguese text messages crowd-sourced from Mozambican mobile users, including 552 instances of smishing messages and 2,009 legitimate text messages, totaling 2,561 instances. The dataset addresses the lack of publicly available SMS phishing datasets for non-English languages and supports tasks such as SMS spam detection or fraud detection.
