Knockdown of SMAD9 in Endocrine progenitors followed by the differentiation to beta-like cells

In order to study the effect of SMAD9 in the differentiation of endocrine progenitors to beta-like cells, SMAD9 was knocked down prior to the endocrine progenitor stage, before SMAD9 expression increases. RNA-seq in the subsequent beta-like cells were performed to study the effect of reduced SMAD9 on beta-like cell differentiation.
