HAMMONIA H2O 40 km injection data
收藏资源简介:
This data was created by using the Hamburg Model of the Neutral and Ionized Atmosphere (HAMMONIA) to simulate the transport of water vapour in the middle atmosphere. The model had a resolution of T31L119. The experiment was conducted as a time slice experiment, i.e. boundary conditions such as incoming solar radiation and background trace gas concentrations only vary seasonally. Apart from that, each year used the same atmospheric background state. For the volcanic runs, the restart file of the reference simulation was modified and the model run freely for up to three years. For the H2O experiment, we modified the specific humidity in every longitude at 2°N at 40 km to inject an additional 170 Tg H2O mass. Three ensembles with different restart files were created. The data for the reference run can be found in ham_00_4y.zip, whereas the data for the three ensembles for the H2O experiment are saved in ham_40km_first_ensemble.zip, ham_40km_second_ensemble.zip and ham_40km_third_ensemble.zip, respectively.
