Effect of the single point mutations and <i>spx</i> on the emergence of teicoplanin resistance.

1Frequency of emergence expressed as the ratio of colony forming units (CFU) under selective (Teicoplanin 2 µg/ml) and non-selective conditions (No teicoplanin).
