EFFECT OF STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP STYLES ON PERFORMANCE OF BENUE LINKS NIGERIA LIMITED

Abstract: This study investigated the effect of effect of strategic leadership styles on performance of Benue Links Nigeria Limited. The study specifically investigated the effect of strategic insight, strategic mindset and strategic influence on performance of Benue Link Nigeria Limited. An explanatory (causal) cross-sectional survey design was used the study to examine the effect of strategic leadership styles on the performance of Benue Links Nigeria Limited. A sample size of 191 staff of Benue Links Nigeria Limited was utilized. The responses from the respondents were analyzed in simple percentage and presented in tables while test of hypotheses was done using regression analysis with the aid of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 26.0 Findings revealed indicated a positive significant effect of strategic leadership styles on performance of Benue Link Nigeria Limited. Statistically, using the p-value, strategic leadership insight has performance value (.001), strategic leadership mindset (.000), and strategic leadership influence (.000). It was concluded that strategic leadership practices variables (strategic insight, strategic mindset and strategic influence) have significant and positive effect on the performance of performance of Benue Links Nigeria Limited. The study recommended among others that all variables of strategic leadership styles studied including strategic insight, strategic mindset and strategic influence should be prioritized by the Company for better performance.
