资源简介:
The painted frog (Discoglossus pictus) in the family Alytidae (formerly Discoglossidae) is found in coastal areas around Mediterranean sea. The common name of these frogs come from their colorful markings (from Wikipedia entry). This genome is from a female collected by Miguel Vences, Felix Amat and Salvador Carranza in Pals, Spain, and coordinated by Gene Myers, Sylke Winkler, and Erich Jarvis to generate a high-quality reference for the Vertebrate Genomes Project (VGP). Sequencing and genome assembly were conducted at the Max Planck Institute in Dresden Germany, led by Gene Myers and Sylke Winkler.
