Comparison of the effects of 6 weeks high-fat diet or sucrose-supplemented drinking water upon gene expression in mice

We fed mice fot 6 weeks with either a high-fat diet or standard chow with sucrose supplemented drinking water We used microarrays to detail the global changes of gene expression induced by the two dietary regimes in liver, adipose and muscle tissues. C57BL6/J male mice were maintained for 6 weeks with standard chow and tap drinking water (CT), in paralel a second group was fed with 45% high-fat diet and tap drinking water (HFD), and a third group was fed with standard chow and drinking water supplemented with 50% sucrose (SAC).
