Attitudes Towards LGBTI People 2017

The survey maps the population's attitudes to lesbians, gays, bisexual, transgender and intersex people (LGBTI people). The survey was conducted by Opinion AS commissioned by the Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs in 2017. The survey is based on two previous posture surveys conducted in 2008 and 2013, respectively. Questionnaire from the survey in 2017 was adjusted and updated, but the majority of questions are the rehearsal of previous years. Brand new questions were added regarding attitudes to that survey refer to as intersex. The survey includes topics relating to the attitudes of the population to and contact with LGBTI people, attitudes to gender-based marriage and reproductive rights for lgbti people.
