The present experimental study addresses the flow of a Yield Stress Fluid (YSF) with some elasticity (Carbopol gel) in a square duct. The behaviour of two fluids with lower (LYS) and higher yield stress (HYS) is investigated in terms of the friction factor and flow velocities at multiple Reynolds numbers Re* = (1, 200) and, hence, Bingham numbers Bi = (0.01, 0.35). 本实验研究聚焦于方形管道内具有一定弹性的屈服应力流体(Yield Stress Fluid,YSF,卡波姆凝胶)的流动行为。本研究选取低屈服应力(Lower Yield Stress,LYS)与高屈服应力(Higher Yield Stress,HYS)两种流体作为研究对象,在雷诺数Re*=(1, 200)、宾汉数Bi=(0.01, 0.35)的多组工况下,以摩擦阻力系数与流动速度为评价指标,对其流动特性展开系统性探究。该研究的预印本可通过链接https://arxiv.org/abs/1905.07260获取。
