National EU reference laboratory for air pollutants

According to the Measurement Concept Ordinance, a calibration workshop for operators of the Austrian air quality networks takes place annually at the Federal Environment Agency. This provides the possibility to compare and calibrate the respective standards for air pollutants with those of the Federal Environment Agency as a national EU reference laboratory, thus ensuring their traceability. For ozone, the deviations between the standard of the Federal Environment Agency and those of the participating measurement network operators were in most cases less than one percent. For sulphur dioxide differences of up to 5 % were observed, and for nitrogen oxides and carbon monoxide up to 1.6 %. During the workshop, the flow of measuring equipment was also calibrated. In addition, foil sets for radiometric fine dust meters were compared with a reference film set of the Federal Environment Agency.根据《测量概念条例》（Measurement Concept Ordinance），面向奥地利空气质量网络运营商的校准研讨会每年于联邦环境署（Federal Environment Agency）举办。本次研讨会可为各运营商将其空气污染物检测标准与作为欧盟国家参考实验室的联邦环境署的标准进行比对与校准，从而确保检测标准的可溯源性。就臭氧而言，联邦环境署标准与参会检测网络运营商标准间的偏差大多低于1%；针对二氧化硫，观测到的最大偏差可达5%；氮氧化物与一氧化碳的最大偏差则为1.6%。研讨会期间，还对检测设备的流量进行了校准。此外，参会方还将辐射法细粉尘检测仪所用的滤膜组件与联邦环境署的参考滤膜组件进行了比对。
