KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE TOWARDS TUBERCULOSIS (TB) IN N0N-MEDICAL STUDENT IN THE UNIVERSITY OF MMDU

The infectious disease known as tuberculosis (TB) is communicable and is brought on by the Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex. A cross-sectional survey study was conducted at MMDU Mullana, Ambala. The survey was conducted in the form of a self-developed questionnaire. Out of 288, 286 are willing to participate in the study which gives a response rate of 99.8%. 158 males and 130 females participated in the study and the mean age calculated was 21.85. The study concluded that students without medical backgrounds have good knowledge of tuberculosis.
