Germination responses of Streptanthus and Caulanthus species exposed to hydrothermal cues. Streptanthoid Complex

Seeds of various Streptanthus and Caulanthus species were exposed to multiple hydrothermal conditions and collected before radicle emergence. These closely related species exist in significantly different environments and have adjusted their germination behavior to fit their environments. Expression of genes related to germination may provide insight on how these species have evolved to thrive in their environments
