COATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device which coats a surface to be coated with a coating liquid， and can fill the coating liquid to the details of defects on the surface to be coated. SOLUTION: The coating device， which coats the whole area or a part of a surface of a tabular object 1 to be coated， which is continuously or intermittently transported and has a recessed defective part on the surface， with a coating liquid 7， comprises: a coating amount adjustment component 2 which adjusts a coating amount of the coating liquid 7; and a filling auxiliary component 3 which has a body part 3B extending in a direction crossing the transport direction and to which the coating amount adjustment component 2 is pressure-welded on an upstream side of the coating amount adjustment component 2 in the transport direction， and which has a coating liquid flow channel which regulates and converges a flow direction of the coating liquid 7 which is supplied onto the surface of the tabular object 1 and moves in the transport direction together with the tabular object 1， and assists filling of the coating liquid 7 to the defective part. The filling auxiliary component 3 is so provided as to satisfy specific conditions. SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
