15032 — Visas issued to students

After a trend towards stabilisation until 2011 (-0.8 %), 2012 saw a 3.7 % decrease in the number of visas issued to students. This decrease, amounting to 2,700 visas, was mainly due to the consequences of the Arab Spring, since the decrease for North Africa amounted to 2,467 visas less. It was also linked to the effects of the circular of 31 May 2011, which restricted access to work for students. In 2013, however, the implementation of procedural improvements had a positive impact on the processing of student visa applications both quantitatively and qualitatively: overall demand increased by more than 6 %, with the issuance rate increasing by 5 points.在2011年之前呈平稳态势（同比下降0.8%）后，2012年学生签证签发量同比下降3.7%。 此次签证缩减规模达2700份，主要源于阿拉伯之春（Arab Spring）带来的连锁影响——其中北非地区的签证签发量减少了2467份。 该降幅同时也与2011年5月31日发布的、限制学生打工的通告政策有关。 但到了2013年，签证办理流程的优化升级对学生签证申请的处理产生了数量与质量层面的双重积极影响：整体申请需求增长超6%，签证签发率提升了5个百分点。
