SGP97: GEM MOLTS Derived Soundings. Version 1.0

The SGP97 GEM MOLTS Derived Soundings data set contains AES/CMC GEM Model Location Time Series (MOLTS) derived soundings from up to 255 locations over North America. These output are only for the initial analysis time (i.e. no forecast derived soundings) and only the state parameters (pressure, temperature, dew point, relative humidity, wind speed, and wind direction). The complete output (including hourly forecast derived soundings with all surface and upper level parameters) in the original BUFR format are available from NCAR/SCD. This data set currently consists only of output from April 1997 to June 30, 2000. More output is being added frequently. See the README file for more details.

SGP97 GEM MOLTS衍生探空数据集涵盖北美最多255个观测站点的AES/CMC GEM模式位置时间序列（Model Location Time Series，简称MOLTS）衍生探空数据。该数据集仅包含初始分析时刻的衍生探空数据（不含预报衍生探空数据），且仅收录状态参数：气压、气温、露点温度、相对湿度、风速与风向。完整数据集（包含逐小时预报衍生探空数据及所有地面、高空参数）以原始BUFR格式存储，可从NCAR/SCD获取。当前该数据集仅涵盖1997年4月至2000年6月30日的产出数据，目前正频繁新增更多数据。如需了解更多细节，请参阅README文件。
