Rhizophora apiculata a typical perennial mangrove species growing in tropic and subtropic coastal lines. The first assembled genome is 222.6 Mb, covering 81.3% of the estimated genome size obtained from the flow cytometry data. The second assemble which combined the Illumina and SMRT sequencing provide a genome of 232.1 Mb, covering 84.73% of the estimated genome size.
