Processed data and statistical plotting code for snow-dependent relationships between surface-based temperature inversions and multidepth ground-temperature anomalies across Northern Hemisphere permafrost regions

This repository contains the processed datasets, statistical outputs, and figure-generation scripts supporting Figures 1–5 of the associated manuscript. The study investigates snow-dependent relationships between surface-based temperature inversions and multidepth ground-temperature anomalies across Northern Hemisphere permafrost regions during 2003–2023. The repository includes data for the study-area map, threshold-sensitivity analysis, four snow–inversion combinations, selected-latitude contrasts, and GTN-P borehole validation. Original ERA5, ERA5-Land, ESA CCI Permafrost, and GTN-P source datasets are not redistributed and remain available from their respective data providers.
