本数据集(WHU-TLS)是一个面向大范围地基激光扫描(TLS)点云配准的基准数据集。数据集包含从11个不同环境(包括地铁站、高铁站台、山地、森林、公园、校园、住宅区、河岸、遗产建筑、地下挖掘现场和隧道)采集的115个扫描站点数据,共计超过17.4亿个三维点云数据。数据涵盖了不同的点密度、杂乱程度和遮挡情况。除了原始扫描数据外,数据集还提供了高精度的地面真值变换矩阵、配准图以及通过其他算法计算的变换结果,旨在为研究人员提供统一的评估基准,用于开发和测试先进的TLS点云配准方法。该数据集也可用于铁路安全运营、河流勘测治理、森林结构评估、文化遗产保护、滑坡监测和地下资产管理等应用研究。
This dataset (WHU-TLS) is a benchmark dataset for large-scale terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) point cloud registration tasks. It includes 115 scanning station datasets collected from 11 distinct environments, namely subway stations, high-speed railway platforms, mountainous areas, forests, parks, campuses, residential areas, riverbanks, heritage buildings, underground excavation sites and tunnels, with a total of over 1.74 billion 3D point cloud data points. The data covers varying point densities, clutter levels and occlusion conditions. In addition to raw scanning data, the dataset also provides high-precision ground-truth transformation matrices, registration maps and transformation results calculated by other algorithms, aiming to offer researchers a unified evaluation benchmark for developing and testing advanced TLS point cloud registration methods. This dataset can also be applied to applied research in fields such as railway safety operation, river survey and governance, forest structure assessment, cultural heritage protection, landslide monitoring and underground asset management.
