This table contains figures on manure production and the amount of nitrogen and phosphate excreted. In addition, the manure production is compared with the installation space according to the applicable use standards. The data can be broken down by type of business according to the standard business typing based on the gross standard balance (BSS) and standard yields (SO). The total for the Netherlands can be broken down by parts of the country, provinces and concentration areas. Data available from: 1990. Status of figures: Figures are definitive at first publication, but new insights into calculation methods may lead to recalculation of the time series. Changes as of 28 February 2024: Provisional figures on livestock manure production in 2023 have been added. The gaseous nitrogen losses during the storage of livestock manure (excluding emissions from litter) have been adjusted to the latest figures from the Task Force on Agricultural Emissions of the Emissions Registry. No data are yet available on the manure installation area in 2023. When will there be new figures?
