Hybrid Stars and Coronal Evolution

To construct a comprehensive picture of coronal evolution we propose to obtainXMM spectra of a hybrid star (HD 150798) and a prehybrid star (HD 159181). These objects are in the warm.. corona/warm.. wind state of evolution andform the critical connecting link between coronal stars (with hot coronae andlow mass loss rates) and the AlphaOri type objects (with cool coronae andmassive winds). XMM spectra will yield emission measures from linebasedanalyses, electron densities, the size of the corona, and evidence (or not) fora coronal enhancement of abundances (FIP effect). truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
