Canadian Gallup Poll, January 2000

This Gallup poll seeks the opinions of Canadians, on predominantly political and social issues. The questions ask opinions of the past federal election, news sources, and problems facing Canada. There are also questions on other topics of interest such as St. Valentine's Day, relationship with spouse, and Jean Chretien. The respondents were also asked questions so that they could be grouped according to geographic, political and social variables. Topics of interest include: election; news sources; problems facing Canada; relationship with spouse; St. Valentine's Day; Jean Chretien; and political party preference. Basic demographic variables are also included
