资源简介:
Each year comma the ACS Team checks the absolute gains of the ACS-WFC readout amplifiers. Traditionally comma these data have been pairs of full-frame flats in the F435W filter taken at five different exposure times. Based on the latest lamp-intensity measurements from ACS ISR 2021-02 (Cohen and Grogin) comma we keep the longest F435W exposure below 16.9sec to avoid CCD saturation. That study also noted the lamp intensity slowly rises during usage. Thus comma starting with Cycle 30 comma we have divided the exposure sets into two identically-ordered orbits. Reducing the exposure-time sweep to four samplings capped at 8sec also allows for the easier scheduling of this program into HST internal orbits. The fifth (16sec) sampling is redundant with the flatfield-monitor CAL program.
