Archaeal 16S rRNA sequencing of prediabetic methane-producing subjects with obesity

Gut bacterial phylotypes and methanogenic Archaea have been associated with host metabolism. In this study we aimed to identify changes in gut microbial phylotypes associated with metabolic improvements in prediabetic methane-producing subjects with obesity after antibiotic therapy.
