Biodiversity - soft corals, macroalgae, macro invertebrates

To provide comprehensive information on habitats and biodiversity with a focus on sponges, soft coral and macroalgae. Qualitatively and quantitatively describe the biodiversity values of t selected areas of the reef in relationship to the bio-physical environment, patterns of reef use and access form land, linking these with physical and biological surrogates to enable specific biodiversity values to be applied across the NMP. Identify hot spots and develop an understanding of the environmental and habitat factors that explain the distribution of these hotspots.

本数据集旨在提供生境与生物多样性的全面信息，研究重点涵盖海绵（sponges）、软珊瑚（soft coral）及大型藻类（macroalgae）。针对选定的珊瑚礁区域，定性与定量刻画其生物多样性价值，并分析该价值与生物物理环境、珊瑚礁利用模式及陆地可达性的关联；同时将上述关联与物理及生物替代指标相结合，从而可将特定生物多样性价值评估结果推广应用至国家海洋保护区（National Marine Protected Area, NMP）全域。此外，本数据集将识别生物多样性热点区域，并厘清解释此类热点区域分布格局的环境与生境因素。
