Wolbachia endosymbiont of Tribolium confusum strain:wCon Genome sequencing and assembly

Up to 60% of insects are infected with Wolbachia, an eminent intracellular bactria that often manipulate their host reproduction. Here, we report the annotated draft genome of wCon strain, from confused flour beetle, Tribolium confusum, by using Oxford nanopore and Illumina data.
