FRAGMENT Dataset: API Call Sequences for Metamorphic Malware Classification

This dataset supports the paper \u201cFRAGMENT: Improving Accuracy and Efficiency in Metamorphic Malware Classification with Minimal Computational Overhead.\u201dIt contains API call sequences from the Mal-API-2019 dataset, filtered to include the first 500 unique API calls for each malware sample and their corresponding family labels (Adware, Backdoor, Downloader, Dropper, Spyware, Trojan, Virus, and Worm).The data enables reproducibility and benchmarking of malware classification models, focusing on efficiency metrics such as TES, IES, RTDE, MES, and IMES.
