Raw reads obtained from swine excrements for a comparative diet analysis

This project compares the feeding habits of two sympatric forms of swine (wild boar and feral pig). Faecal DNA extracts were amplified sequenced. Considering the omnivorous food preference of the species, we amplified 200 bp of the P6 loop of the chloroplast trnL intron, and MICOlintF associated with PolyShortCoiR and targeting a 350 bp fragment of mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase subunit I (COX1), to detect metazoan component of the diet.
