Data on early assessment of knowledge, attitudes, and behavioral responses to COVID-19 among Connecticut residents in the US

This survey dataset examines COVID-19-related knowledge, attitudes, and adoption of prevention behaviors. The survey was conducted among non-random sample of 464 Connecticut residents in the U.S in the early stage of social distancing and shutdown from March 23 to March 29, 2020. The questionnaires were developed by using Qualtrics software. Participants were purposively recruited. Participants could choose a hyperlink for self-administration of the survey online or were interviewed over the phone or other means of communication and record their answers online. Data was transferred from Qualtrics to SPSS Version 26.0 for analysis. Data were analyzed using frequencies, percentages, means, and standard deviations.本调查数据集旨在探究民众对新型冠状病毒肺炎（COVID-19）的认知水平、态度倾向及预防行为践行情况。该调查于2020年3月23日至29日开展，时值美国社交距离管控与停摆措施实施初期，共招募美国康涅狄格州464名居民组成非随机抽样样本。调查问卷由Qualtrics软件编制，参与者通过目的性抽样方式招募。参与者可选择点击线上链接自行完成在线问卷作答，亦可通过电话或其他通讯方式接受访谈并在线提交答案。研究数据从Qualtrics导出至SPSS 26.0版本进行分析，数据分析采用频数、百分比、均值及标准差等统计方法。
