资源简介:
Photograph of a view of Randsburg, showing the site of the Yellow Aster Mine, 1898. The city of Randsburg is in the middle distance and is made up mostly of scattered small buildings. The foreground is occupied by small desert shrubs and rocks, and the background contains a large mountain with several buildings on it at right. A star and the words "Yellow Aster" denote the position of the mine in the hills at right. The mine was discovered in 1895 by John Singleton, F. M. Mooers and C. A. Burcham. It was southern California's largest gold mine, producing over ten million dollars in gold.
