Significance of <i>HDC</i>, <i>FCER1A</i>, <i>CPA3</i>, <i>SLC45A3</i>, and <i>GATA2</i> with cell-type specific expression markers as covariates.

The linear models are the same as in Table 1 of the main text, except for the addition of covariates for each of the cell-type specific expression profiles in Whitney et al [26]. These include proportions of lymphocytes, neutrophils, reticulocytes, B cells, cytotoxic T lymphocytes/natural killer cells, erythrocytes, myeloid cells, and Myc-regulated cells (profiles for the time of day were also included). There were no T cell specific markers available on the Illumina HT-12. Covariates were constructed via an average standard score across all cell-type specific markers for each sample.
