Dataset Supporting "Evaluating the Coupled GEOS-AOGCM for Climate Research: Response to an Abrupt Quadrupling of CO2 Forcing"

This repository contains a subset of the preindustrial and abrupt 4xCO2 simulations conducted with the Goddard Earth Observing System coupled Atmosphere-Ocean General Circulation Model (GEOS AOGCM). This dataset supports the manuscript entitled “Evaluating the Coupled GEOS-AOGCM for Climate Research: Response to an Abrupt Quadrupling of CO2 Forcing”, which is submitted to Journal of Geophysical Research – Atmospheres. The dataset includes selected variables that are used to generate the figures in the paper. The dataset is in NetCDF format with metadata describing necessary information such as variable names, resolution, and units.
