This set of data with the __territorial delimitations for statistical purposes of the sections of the Canary Islands__ at the reference date, is __basic cartography__ used for the symbolic representation of geospatial statistics. The information is provided in the geodetic system of geographic coordinates __WGS84__ (World Geodetic System 1984, __SRID:4326__), used by the Canary Islands Institute of Statistics (ISTAC), in several formats and with two generalizations (the one named as generalized in less detail).
