Former Judicial Archives

The so-called “Old Law” consists of archives of West Frisian courts prior to 1811. These dealt with civil cases and criminal cases, from the smallest offenses to the most serious crimes. They also recorded the transfer of real estate and taking out mortgage loans. In addition, the same kind of deeds could be found there as the notary. Finally, supervision of the management of orphan goods by guardians was also a task of the courts.所谓‘旧法档案’，涵盖1811年之前西弗里西亚（West Frisian）法院的全部档案卷宗。此类档案的处理范畴包括民事与刑事案件，涉及从轻微违法行为到严重刑事犯罪的所有案件类型；同时还记录了不动产转让与抵押贷款办理相关事务。此外，档案中还收录了与公证人出具的同类契约文书。最后，监督监护人对孤儿财产的管理工作，亦是该类法院的职责之一。
