资源简介:
A strictly anaerobic, Gram-stain-positive, spore-forming, short rod-shaped bacterial strain, designated LBM 19010, was isolated from Chinese strong-aroma liquor fermented mud. Glucose, galactose, cellose, xylose, sucrose, lactose, rhamnose, arabinose and lactate supported growth. The major end product from glucose fermentation was caproate. Acetate could significantly promote growth and caproate production of the strain. Strain LBM 19010 represents the main caproate-producing bacteria in Chinese strong-aroma liquor fermentation. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences revealed that strain LBM 19010 belonged to the family Ruminococcaceae.
