Polygon layer of land use within Johnson City, City limits, Was originally developed in 2010 by using parcels, 2007 aerials, and some supplemental field work. Layer was completely quality control checked again in 2012 to the newer 2011 aerial data. Data is now kept up-to-date through weekly permitting reports from Codes Division. It was the decision of the original builders of the data to just use parcels and not include the right-of-way (ROW) area.
